1. The payment machine is very slow, be patient otherwise you might end up paying for more than one night.
2.. use button to specify foreign nbr plate but also (this bit is the important bit) only need to put in part of your nbr plate 
So, for instance, if you originally put in AB123CDE to add more time you only put in some of the plate so AB123.

Lavos Praia, central portugal, page 459 has now been taken over by a private company.
It was empty when i arrived today, with pay to enter barriers
