Description

The 2018 Michelin Paperback Road Atlas for France is an A4 size road atlas with a glued binding. This atlas has all the detail of the spiralbound and stitched versions and is the most economical road atlas for France, however the glued binding makes it less durable than the stitched version, the standard spiralbound version or the laminated spiralbound version.

There are 7 town centre plans, including detailed Paris city plans, to help you find your way around busy town centres. A route planner detailing major routes, ferries and airports is included and there is a distance and journey times chart between 50 destinations.

The atlas legend is in English, French, Spanish, Italian, German and Dutch.

Michelin Mapping

Michelin mapping is great if you require detailed information to allow you to make an informed choice while navigating your route. It has essential information such as width and height restrictions and other road safety information. If you are after more simplified mapping for route planning alongside your satnav system, then the AA Road Atlas France would be a good choice.

Who Should Buy?

The main difference between this atlas and the other Michelin atlases is the binding. The stitched binding allows the atlas to lay flat when in use, which is very helpful when navigating on the road. Both stitched and spiralbound bindings are more durable than this perfectfound version. That being said, the quality of the mapping is just as good as the other Michelin atlases.
