In our experience Happy Bowl liners significantly reduce the likelihood that you will need to decontaminate the toilet bowl or rubber seal in your caravan, motorhome or campervan porta potty. We have found that when the bowl is dry the liner and contents normally slide into the cassette as soon as the paddle is opened. A quick flush and all is done.
However, if the bowl gets wet flushing may be required, but normally less than the 10 second pre-flushing as recommended by Happy Bowl. As no two snowflakes are alike, you will have to make a judgement on the best exit strategy.

Can I use Happy Bowl Liners with a SOG extractor?

SOG ventilation users can still take advantage of the SOG by tearing an appropriate hole in the Happy Bowl liner. Pre-flushing is recommended so that the liner sticks to the toilet bowl.

We have not encountered any issues when emptying the Elsan cassette, nor has a liner entangled itself inside the toilet cassette.

Are Happy Bowl liners must-have toilet accessories?

We have coped for decades relying on well placed toilet paper, but the Happy Bowl liners are actually more reliable so we are converted.
