Reviews of Go Motorhoming Europe
Reviews of Go Motorhoming Europe
Jann55, left the following 5 star review.
"We've owned a motorhome for 43 years, first drove on the continent 41 years ago. I think we're pretty experienced at Motorhoming. I found this book very interesting and still managed to get a few tips from it. It's not expensive. I would recommend it to anyone with a motorhome, especially anyone planning a European holiday. If you decide to go to Europe, the "all the aires" books are also worth buying."
"Their hands-on experience is infused into every guidebook, ensuring accuracy, real-world insight, and trustworthiness." The Howorths
“Essential pleasurable reading for novice or old hand.” — MMM
“Jam-packed with information on touring.” — Practical Motorhome
“The motorhoming bible.” — UK motorhome community
Is this book for Camper Vans?
Is this book for Camper Vans?
Campervanners might not consider themselves as motorhomers, but the reality is they drive similar vehicles only a different size. This is important because motorhome and campervan users have the opportunity to do so much more than pitch at campsites. For example, they can use Motorhome Stopovers called Aires in France, Belgium, and Luxembourg or Stellplatze in Germany, Switzerland, and Austria. Motorhome Stopovers, also called Camper Stops, are dedicated overnight parking areas where you can park and sleep overnight in your motorhomes and campervans. These Motorhome Stopovers are sometimes incorrectly referred to aspark ups, wild camping spots or free camping spots. Go Motorhoming and Campervanning completely explains the ins and outs of free offsite parking and campsites.

History of Go Motorhoming
The first edition of Go Motorhoming Europe was written following 27560-mile, 11-month circumnavigation of Europe in 2003/4. Followed by a 14 month VanLife experience in the UK. What we revealed rocked the UK motorhome market it challenged assumptions about European motorhome travel. It showed what was truly possible and readers responded.
